Stole the bank data for 500 million. The group used a computer virus known as Core Flood to steal passwords and banking information. No one knows how much money they swindled to it, but it may involve more than 500 million over a decade.
Most of the over 2 million infected PCs were in the U.S., but the federal police the FBI believes the thieves were foreigners.
